This romance fiction story is a heartfelt, moving tale that explores the beauty of kindness, healing, and unexpected love. Tyler Butler and Rebeka Miller's journey is an emotional rollercoaster that touches on deep themes of trust, healing, and personal growth. The narrative perfectly balances the intimate moments of connection between the characters with the challenges they face in their personal lives.

Tyler, a compassionate and selfless ER doctor, is the epitome of the kind of man every woman dreams of. His care for Rebeka-emotionally, physically, and even spiritually-shines through every interaction. He doesn't just heal her body; he's slowly mending her heart, offering a safe haven for someone who has faced so much pain and betrayal. His quiet strength is magnetic, and his ability to make Rebeka feel safe and cared for is nothing short of admirable. The way he takes charge, guiding her to rest when she insists on doing things for herself, shows his deep respect for her well-being. Tyler's internal monologues, especially the ones where he reflects on her past and what she's been through, add so much depth to his character. It's clear he's not just in this for the short term-he's ready to give her the healing and the space she needs to rebuild her life.

Rebeka, though fragile and struggling with her guilt and past, is a compelling and complex character. Her conflicting emotions, her quiet strength, and the way she learns to trust Tyler despite her past experiences are so beautifully written. Her deep-rooted beliefs and upbringing have shaped her, but it's evident that Tyler's presence is pushing her to reconsider and grow beyond those boundaries. The way she battles with her guilt about the award ceremony dress, and how Tyler reassures her, is a poignant moment that illustrates the delicate nature of her journey.

The dynamics between the characters are so real and raw. Tyler's interactions with Missy (his niece), his aunt Elizabeth, and even the family dog, Zeke, reveal his caring nature and his unshakeable commitment to those he loves. And the gentle romance between Tyler and Rebeka builds at just the right pace. It's not rushed; it's a slow, tender progression as both of them work through their emotional hurdles.

The supporting characters, from Aunt Beth to the loyal dog Zeke, round out the story beautifully. They all add something special to the narrative and show just how much love and support Tyler has around him, which ultimately helps him become the man he is for Rebeka.

The quiet yet intense chemistry between Tyler and Rebeka makes this story shine. Tyler's genuine care for her and his ability to see beyond her past mistakes are incredibly touching. He is a man who truly respects a woman for who she is, not who she was. His unwavering support in the face of her doubts and insecurities is what makes him a hero in this story.

This romance isn't just about falling in love-it's about healing, growth, and learning to trust again. The writing captures the raw emotions perfectly, making it impossible to put the book down. Every word feels intentional and meaningful, as each scene unfolds with care and authenticity. This is a must-read for anyone who loves heartfelt romance with real, deep characters and a story that will stay with you long after the last page.

I just don't get to FS much, so always am reading a chapter as a stand alone. This was had a lot of meat to it and was as always well written. I was struck with your background statement, "Respect any man who heals a broken woman he didn't break and raises a child he didn't make." Says a lot!
Very well written Barbara!

Yes, in the St. Louis area, six went through, but my son and his family missed them. Don't worry about the six. I appreciate your wonderful support.

nicely written.
"Those are touchy subjects. Some members will allow them to point. - to 'a' point?
Tyler sounds off-puttingly controlling in this chapter.
Best wishes.

Thank you for the kind review and the catch. I have made the correction. I'll keep an eye on Tyler's bossiness. I believe his intentions are good.

I am really enjoying this. I come from a background similar to Rebekah's religious restrictions for men and women. Just one small miss I think."I'm waiting for you to return (to?) the couch."

Thank you for the catch and the kind review. My home had religious restrictions too, but not this bad.

The plot makes it interesting, as the pair who are strangers at first find themselves under the same roof. Bridge out, power out. That's when you can deepen the emotion and learn about each one, as they learn about each other. I like the way you present her, having been raised to be a saved Christian, but under a roof where legalism chokes the liberty in Christ. I may have read too much into it, but that's me. You have me along for the reading ride. Blessings...

Nope. You got it. With too much law one misses the message of Jesus. Thank you for the kind review.

I love this new book of yours, it has all charms and romance in the right places, how I wish this will be true in real life. I guess I am still longing for that:) in the meantime I am just stuffing myself with your pretty dreamy romance.

Thank you for this kind review. True romance is difficult to find. I feel most of the time we find it when we're least expecting it.

I hope that Tyler would be successful in recovering every trace of guilt from Rebekas mind .He is determined to face her father too . Rebecca will take some time to melt off her reservations..

It does take Rebeka time to recover and to trust Tyler. None of this will come easy. Thank you for the kind review.

This was one of your best pieces, Barb. The story flows very nicely, and you are developing things very well. You have picked a good spot for a chapter break.
