This is a beautifully written sonnet, Your writing is excellent - shark's waters tall, no fear" and "frothing waves tied to rebel seas" are perfect.
I loved "solace can be won on this errant perch" - it wraps it up with such a hopeful note. Stunning work!

Appreciated. I'm still new to sonnets. I'm glad you found something of note in this one. This is a place that I'm moving to in my own life at the moment or trying to move to - being at peace with myself and what's around me. It helps me be a better decision-maker, think more clearly and create more freely as well. Hold on to your peace. That is my message.
