I don't blame Garth and Donatelli for taking a little time to absorb all that Eleanor had to tell them. Lots of drama still to come for them all, I'm thinking. Great chapter Carol.
Cheers

The hoy Travis is obviously an objesct and a barrier to the plotting and the purposes of Grayson Webb and his evil grandfather Cornelius, and now they're all trying to get their hands on the boy Travis, beautifully written, blessings Roy

I didn't believe this story could be wound up any tighter, but now there's more rubber bands twisted around the core that it resembles the innards of a golf ball. Thanks for sharing.

This is a really complicated case. Rebecca is a Webb, she is Rebecca's half- sister, she has a legitimate claim on the Vineyard, the will giving it to her is fake, and her son is missing. It seems as if you have all the bad guys from the other stories involved in this one, although Doyle seems to be a wild card.

And the case continues to build adding more and more questions and mysteries to solve. At least, all of the detectives think they know who the major players are, even if they don't know how ghosts maneuver. I'm enjoying this, and look forward to what you think up next.

It's all starting to come together. I'm figuring it out. Thank you, Eleanor. In our handsome hunks, defense. It is a lot to take in. LOL
Eleanor's form flickered as she spoke. "This is bigger than you realize. (spoke,)
His voice, however, remained smooth and reassuring. "I see. (reassuring,)
She whispered to herself, her voice barely audible even to her own senses. "Althea, you're trusting the wrong man." (sense,)
His expression darkened, his next words dripping with intent. "If the boy's gone, someone has him. (intent,)

Carol,
I have missed much, but I've caught up fast. The is wonderfully written, my friend. I didn't realize this was the Eleanor mysteries. The plot has thickened with more intriguing characters and the mob. Fantastic!
Sending you my best today as always and blessings for your writing day.

The Webb's have Doyle???
Now, Carol. This is getting more revolutions than a fairground ride.
I love it.
What's next? The pizza delivery boy is really a hit man in disguise working for the undead mafia?

I can understand Eleanor's anger with Garth and Matthew, they really are acting like kids. After all she has helped them with, they are still sceptical of what she is telling them. All they are interested in is Doyle, but he is conected but how, we still don't know. At least they now believe what Eleanor is saying. But now, Eleanor has learned a lot more since leaving the office. Things are getting very complicated and it will need some sharp, positive detectives to help sort this! Well done, my friend, another amazing chapter. Love you lots! Sandra xx

A lot to process! I read through three times just to keep my characters straight. Dag nab it I keep thinking Travis is Angela's boy and not Althea's!
I found the "aside" about profiling superfluous. Nothing Eleanor said indicated profiling, which the Collins Dictionary states is:
"the practice of categorizing people and predicting their behaviour according to particular characteristics such as race or age"
"Eleanor and I got a strange vibe from her."
Would not be construed as pretty filing, I am certain.
(A small thing, but hey, you know I'm paying attention!)
Grayson is really bad news...
The rest?
Impeccable and sets up the platform for a whole lot of action!
