First, your name seems familiar but I am not sure if I ever read ramblings as yours unless I was reading my own, which I am apt to do regularly. Just research me to see. I enjoyed this post.
And Australia has driverless buses?

Thanks for the great review.Driverless trains. Metro now from Sydenham (eventually Bankstown)to Tallawong and soon from St Marys to the new Western Sydney Airport that will open in a couple of years. Stick around or look back through the Ramblings.

Hi Geoff, I'm so glad that you have found some new doctors who might help you. I have learned a lot from this post. I never knew that radiation would also kill the nerves so the injury won't heal. I will be thinking of you. Ulla :)))

Thanks, Ulla. Seems it has been a learning curve for a lot of my reviewers, as for me about radiation and killing the nerves. Appreciate the lovely review.

This comes with a prayer, my friend! I'm glad you have a specialist and some artificial skin to help with scarring. Let me kn how it goes. Thank you for sharing and keeping us in the loop. Our prayers are strong as The Lord I'd strong.

I hope your new doctor is able to make some progress on that wound of yours! I learned more about radiation from your post. I didn't know it killed the nerves near the skin cancer. That's good to know. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the great review. That was news to me at first, as well about killing the nerves. The plastic surgeon had given up on me as it was no longer cancerous.

It is good that your skin cancer is being treated. Young Max is adorable. I have great nieces and a great nephew as well, they are so much fun to be around. I wish you well on your health journey. Excellent article about your progress with skin cancer which is very common. I am sure many can relate to your story.

I pray that your next doctor can fix the issue. God will work through the doctor to do this. I pray each day for those in need and you will be on my list. Don.

Thanks so much, Don. I hope I qualify for a trial of the artificial skin, seeing there won't be any new stuff coming naturally due to the radiation treatment. Especially appreciate the prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear of this Geoff, I've had a few cancers removed from my legs and arms but never from my head, I can remember the dermatologist responding to my question of keeping out of the sun, he said, "You're about forty years too late,", heh heh, thanks for sharing Geoff, blessings Roy

I'm hearing a lot about artificial skin recently. If it's something that can help with burns and scarring, I'm all for it. Your great nephew is adorable. Gretchen

I am sorry you had a fall and hurt your head in the same place where you have a skin cancer. Our bodies take longer to heal as we age and we become less agile and prone to falling. I had a fall recently and it took me 4 weeks to recover. I sincerely hope you heal quickly and enjoy an active life again, love Dolly x

Thanks, Dolly. The fall began the necessity of being accompanied by a carer on all trips "out and about" and for medical appointments, etc. All funded under our Government's "My Aged Care" programme of which I am on Level 3.
