Each and every word in your contest entry I can relate to and agree with. My heart as well is in my home, even now that my kids have been gone.
Memories of them growing and now integrate my grandkids into my home and those words are even more fortified

Beautiful poem. Where would we be without and comfort, happiness and safety of our own homes.
What better than to go home after a long days work or walk out in the cold or wet and come in home into the cozies and chill in front of the fire or whatever the case may be. Well done, good luck with the contest.

They say home is where the heart is. I say the lawn is where the heart is. There is nothing worse than a lawn with the mange. Borders! A lawn must be well-bordered and trimmed. Ohh, that's where the heart is, in the green, green grass of home.
