Amen! And may we fly on the wings of grace! I especially liked how you focused on God's creating man by "etching" His image on "dusty sod" and to redeem us, He gave love a "human face" - that of our Lord Jesus!

Your first line made me think: "I love the names of Father God" I know no other man or woman for that matter, Who has so many names as God. It goes to show that he is loved by many.

Hi Roy,

Beautiful verse of the importance of the names of God and their significance showing His different spirit that comforts us, admonishes us, helps and consoles us and more. Have you ever read The Shack by William P. Young? It reminded me of the many facets of God, the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit.

Beautiful work, Roy :-)

All the best to you and yours,
Senyai

I never saw it until you point it here in your poem and foot note that God reveals different characteristics of himself through many names in the Bible, but it all makes sense!!
Beautifully written. I am assuming you have published books with you poems for those strong in faith followers that would adore your writing! Well done and thanks for sharing.
Best Wishes
Nicki

Roy,

You always write heart felt poems. I can see your love for God in all of the poems. This is a great poem, and I love how it rhymes and flows to completion.

Great poem as always. Love them

Cecilia

How great and unimaginable the love which God has for humanity. In Christ death for the salvation of man, God's love for man is boldly expressed. Thanks for sharing your Bible inspired work. Well done, dear Roy.

With God having so many names, I think it helps us to relate because one may mean more to us personally.

He gave love a human face when He gave us his Son.

Wonderful, Roy.

This work has reached the exceptional level

How many men will sell their souls for a Title, so they can "lord" it over the others? I have seen many change their character over a position. With all the titles the Son of God holds, and all His responsibilities, He performs His roles well and stands ready to guide us long the way.

I have seen numerous lists of all of God's names in the Bible. It's amazing and He fits every one of them personally. We all have our favorites. Thank you for sharing this inspired poem with us.

Roy, I wish I had six stars to give you for this great poem you have penned about our Lord, God! You used great descriptive words and amazing imagery from the artwork you chose. I am going to start back writing about the different names of God. Blessings, Teri
