Despite the image, I did not think Sami would end up stuck in a tree with a steer below. Good job Jasper was able to get away safely. Sami does seem to jump to conclusions without giving Noah a chance to finish his sentence and the tears do come readily. I hope Noah continues to have patience with her. Well written and engaging story.

I found no errors and was entertained by this chapter. Sami does have a flair for getting into trouble. Noah now seems devoted to her, but he is going to have to make a job change if their relationship is going to work.

Ha! I was chuckling at the treed woman myself. Then I realized that I wouldn't have gotten down either. Steers can be nasty!

Good fun read. This seems to be wrapping up nicely!

A good addition to your well composed book. The line that made me take notice was this: " "Yes, males are in danger too. Human trafficking doesn't only affect females." You often think about the young girls and forget about the horrors that young men go through.

A well written chapter and a nice close on a topic that is both awful and underestimated by many. It is though we are back in the dark ages. sometimes I think we have never left the. Thanks for sharing and take care.

I can imagine it wouldn't be easy to be married to someone like Sami, one would have to worry where the next change of wind would come, I would've been in trouble with Elaine a lot more than I was. Having longhorns stroll by would be like kangaroos bounding past our doors here, heh heh, well done Barbara, blessings Roy

Tell Sami she doesn't need to get all upset and tearful over everything that happens. It looks like things are getting close to wrapped up with Chen's capture. He'll probably have a high-priced lawyer, though. I was wondering where you'd go with the Longhorn steer. It was funny, and Sami being in the tree was, too. You are following Dickens's advice--make 'em laugh, make 'em cry, make 'em wait. Great chapter. I've been think about it, and for future stories you might want to include just a brief summary instead of the ending from the previous chapter. judi

This story has consistently pleased me. I am totally invested in it. As eager as I am to read the final outcome, I know that I will be sad to see the story end. So, I am totally conflicted. Great job of writing.

i swear I thought Galvin had something to do with Sami not coming back from peach picking. I was not expecting the long horned steer to be the culprit. I did enjoy this chapter especially the fact that Sami was focusing on Sarah and her pregnancy. Very good reading. Gretchen

Did you notice how much that steer looks like a bison? With a female president we will a different point of view in some of our important matters. Like weddings for children, I hope. Good writing. Karen
