Isaiah was such a poet in addition to being a prophet. I always felt sorry for Isaiah and Ezekiel in all that they were called to do. Thanks for sharing about their trials and their walk of faith.

The poem revealed the limited wisdom of man for choosing to warship God's own creatures when those creature as seen in nature are clapping and praising God always. I find this striking, 'I look amazed, God gave me sight, to see the dawn, released from night.' Well done, dear Roy. Remain blessed.

We fall so short of what we deserve from God. Yet, He continually loves us and remains there for us. We just need to allow Him to work within us. Thank you for sharing your God given talent with us.

Your poem captures so much of Scripture, plus a bit of biblical history. I like the two stanzas that reflect the verses in Romans 1, about worshiping creation rather than the Creator. One suggestion: ' within (;) (they) turn what's holy into sin' -- to clarify that it's not God who made the change. Great poem with good rhymes and meter. Blessings. Carol

God sees us stumble and fall. He listens as we curse our circumstances and yet He still helps us up, wipes our tears and loves us. Are we worthy? Not really, except to Him. Beautifully written. Gretchen

It seems to me the curse in creation is what man contributed with his own hand. Billy Graham once said we give the Devil too much credit. He said we are very capable of doing the wrong thing with no help or encouragement.

Beautiful poem that highlights the majesty of the Grand Creator. Yet so many worship His creation and idols made by their own hands, rather than Him. Even today we continue to see this.
