This was a lovely poem in just twenty syllables. I liked your descriptions and the fact that they were inspiring. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

I like this but would have broken into more traditional stanzas like the following
Torrential
waters
of the river's rapids
plummet to the brain.
Inspiration.
just a suggestion works fine as it is

Thanks for your suggestion. It sounds quite romantic breaking it up into the more traditional stanzas.

Just letting you know that I've taken your suggestion and changed the layout of the poem. Thanks for the advice.

What a striking line! The idea of "torrential waters" pouring into the brain is so powerful. I can feel the inspiration that floods the mind when you describe this. For me you've captured the moment when ideas rush in like a wild river. Great job!

A few short syllables to explain the force of nature and how it relates to our thoughts as well. If we allow our minds to be filled with creativity we will be inspired to write with power and energy.

Hi there,
Firstly, all syllables present and correct - which is always nice!
Good strong imagery and a nice denouement. Perfect pairing of picture and words.
Best of luck to you
