Very good chapter as Sami and Noah's relationship advances into deeper waters. The story of Amber and Jesse was a fairly common one in that war. I am looking forward to finding out how that story relates to Sami and Noah's romance.

I thought it was a pretty good chapter. The relationship between Amber and Jesse might foreshadow the relationship between Sami and Noah in some respects, or at least it casts a shadow of foreboding, the idea that something might happen to him in his dangerous profession that could make for a premature end to them. Sami's concern is evident, and Noah seems to be hanging back too, unsure if Sami is totally committed. But she seems to be leaning that way. There's a subtle underlying tension in the air, as if something is about to happen to Noah, and the suspense builds up with that. estory

YEAH I did wonder about Amber and her Jesse and so I will wait.. This was another smooth chapter that underscored the deepening of their relationship. I can understand why Sami became very emotional about the letter...

I thought it was brilliant to add that other couple from the past. I liked how it propelled Sami's relationship with Noah and how they keep talking things out. Sami has the advantage of growing up with a healthy role model for marriage in her parents. I figure you will show us that Christina Erin Mills may be related to Noah somehow and that could show him that he had an ancestry of love. Maybe.
