Congratulations on your third place win for this beautiful piece. I saw the northern lights while living in Fairbanks, Alaska. Something I will never forget and so glad I got the experience. Magical! Your description was beautiful. All the best.

I thank you so very much 1Dreamer. What a lovely review and comments. I appreciate them more than you could possible know. Thanks for topping this dance off with extra stars in the background. This means so much to me!!

Well sis, you have a very inviting way of explaining the esoteric Aurora to us mere mortals. You remind those of us who may glance up and say oh, that's nice, that there's much more to the beauty that we often let escape from our site and our awareness. Another wonderful piece! Embrace the love from above.

Enjoyed your story, writing a story with limit words. Your words painted a vivid picture. Your descriptions were outstanding and your verbs poetically danced across the page. GOOD LUCK IN THE CONTEST.

I also live in Minnesota and during this night of Northern Light display, we were in our vacation condo on Lake Superior in Lutsen. This was visible but we went to bed earlier after day of skiing. When I saw photos on Facebook from a friend who works at our resort, I was kicking myself. We go there once per month and hope they will show up again.
I saw it once more than 30 years ago in Kenora, Canada.
Well done.

Beautiful picture of the Northern Lights, Debi, and your words describe them well. It's been a long time since I have actually seen them, but they certainly are one of God's great creations

We went to Norway in the hope of seeing the Northern Lights, but it was not to be. Then, last week, they could be seen in many places in the midlands and north of England. Again, we missed it, living right down south. I bet it was lovely that you got to see them so clearly. I like your dribble fiction, my friend. Well done and good luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xx

A beautifully written and presented entry. In your personification of your Aurora reminds me of a famous dancer Isadora Duncan who tossed aside ridgid ballet to a freedom of the natural movement of the human body with dance in a flowing Greek tunic and long flowing scarves.
Best wishes for the contest.

Very nicely done. It is a great challenge to do a 50 word flash and you did so, quite well.
I lived in Alaska as a kid and got to see these quite a bit. They're kind of like an electric rainbow.
Well done and best of luck in the contest,
Brandon

Beautifully written, Debi. I loved the personification of the northern lights as an exotic woman doing her encore presentation of a dance in the sky. I've never been fortunate enough to see her at work, but you've described her beautifully, and that's an impressive picture. Very well-done flash story. Jim
