Just noticed this change.

The first place ranked script writer at the end of the year can select this mug that includes the FanStory logo.
Did anyone else see this?
Poetry -The top 10
Short stories - The top five
Novels - The topo five
Scripts- Only the first place (one)
Is this the last year for the Script category? They are already not granted consideration for Seals. Have to get 7 reviews to get on the front page, whereas books and prose have only five. Yes, scripts are lumped with stories in all other things (monthlies, Certificates)

poems are the most posted i think. . .
stories and novels are next...
then scripts...

At the moment, Lance, I don't think it matters, have you seen the rankings? They don't give anyone the insentive to push for them. You don't have to write a novel to be on the novel rankings you can write an essay and put it in as a novel. I've not posted four chapters yet, but I don't think I'll even bother to look at where I start off. What is happening here? It was like this last year, and someone complained and was told things would change this year??? It's worse!

Yes, I know, Sandra. I reviewed a "chapter" of a novel this week. I told the author he didn't have enough content to move the story or the plot forward. It really was that short, and so was the next chapter.
He basically told me to mind my own business.
The micro submission started with poetry and scripts (one guy), then moved to Stories (one paragraph) and now it has migrated to novels. The word is out: Write as little as possible, give fifty-two cents and you'll get praise and a five in return. The best way to move up the rankings without doing anything. What's the point?
We all must stop rewarding them, or it will only get worse.

You're being kind, and I get that. But let's be real too. Real honest. If your last ten stories are all seven line, single paragraphs, and people have told you, you need more. And all you do is say thank you but never change. It's not their best effort and we all know it.
God... we're going to kill our site with kindness.
