Old
fashioned
compassion
seems so faded.
Ignore faces ashen.
our hearts dulled, remote and jaded.
They no longer feel pain, just feel hated
They long to live safe, escape. No, go home, they're told.
In remote worlds we, as one, created.
Void of touch, hatred paraded
Lost in the distraction
of lives shaded.
Relations,
nations,
fold.
