In icy depths her song of sorrow sounds
Facade of iron buried deep, entombed
Rememb'rance of her fortune ill resounds
Titanic! Ship of Dreams, O Ship of Doom
By human greed and error she went down
And with her fell two thousand screaming souls
Her blazing lights extinguished as she drowned
And screams unheard grew quiet in the cold
Too late arrived her saviour on dawn's breath
Atlantic shroud now smothering her cries
White faces floating, frozen eyes of death
Accusing, cold reflections of the lies
"There's naught will sink her!" many had once said
Such words to drown with all the many dead
