She’s proven right; we smile and then say, “ahem!
Take note of this gal, she’s a natural you see,
She eats up the news like an ice cream sundae,
she thinks on her feet, and always keeps her cool,
This girl may be young, but she’s nobody’s fool!
She’s pleasant, and pretty, and greets with a smile
The journalists who’ve come to spar for awhile
Thinking they’ll catch her because of her youth
But she comes back at them with hard facts and truth.
She does her boss proud, all Americans too,
She’s strong in her faith and the red, white and blue;
She’ll keep us apprised of the President’s days
With honesty, humor and real facts always.
