Who am I?   Recognized Author Notes My mother suffered from Alzheimer's and even though I didn't have a good relationship with her, it was sad to see her fade away to a shell of herself. Alzheimer's is an ugly disease. It's hard on the person and the families. They can remember their past and often talk about mama and papa, but short term memory isn't there.
