Poison flowing through his tiny body unknown,
days of sickness and deaths door he was shown.
Childhood innocence gripped by pain,
a mother's tears falling like rain.
A fathers angry cry to above in fear,
An answered prayer called, "a miracle," here.
A 4 year olds life altered for better or worse?
Was the knowledge he gained a gift or a curse?
A peek into heaven where time stood still,
a peaceful place for those who followed Gods will.
A pastor who questioned it all without giving a thread,
a boy with all the answers way over his head.
Reunited with Pops and a sister unborn,
his experience to the eternal world for these reasons he'd mourn.
Everyone is young and the colors are bright,
wings do exist and so do head lights.
To heaven and back in 3 minutes they say,
A father's answered prayer to live another day.
