“Marcus!!! NOOOO!” I look at the empty container on the table, then at his lifeless extremities. “How many did you take?” I know I am screaming, but I can’t seem to stop. I work to get him upright, but he’s large and recalcitrant. His moans sound more like a growl. He will be no help; I'm on my own. I wrack my brains to remember when this last order was filled. All I know for sure is that it’s going to be a long night if all forty of those Milk Bones from Chewy.com are in this stupid dog’s stomach.
