A tribute to Hienz
Such faithfulness is what I saw
that shone from eyes that trust.
They stirred the hope that lies within
and blew away doubts dust.
So many times unanswered words
left questions cloaked in peace.
Yet faith still spoke from every cell
that sings hope cannot cease.
I know I'll gaze where this saint sat
and know he's left his mark.
That surely darkness lies disturbed
by faith's reflected spark.
One only needs a perfumed flower
to know hope will remain.
And when its beauty breaks through ground
sings praise in hope's refrain.
The Earth will not forget your song
that's written on Earth's sod.
Their legacy repeats those words
in praise to Father God.
I'll not forget you Hienz, my friend
each time I hear faith's sound.
Because in Christ you have believed
in Heaven you'll be found.

Author Notes
his is a tribute to an old friend, brother and faithful servant of the Lord, who passed away sadly last week, at age 92. He is at peace and rejoicing in the halls of Heaven, dancing and singing with saints and angels to God the Father and the risen saviour Jesus Christ, he is at peace.
Psalm 116:15-17
Precious in the sight of the Lord Is the death of His saints. 16 O Lord, truly I am Your servant; I am Your servant, the son of Your maidservant; You have loosed my bonds. 17 I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of the Lord.
