Anatolian Shepherd dogs are known for protecting sheep and goats from predators like wolves and bears. They have been used to help farmers protect livestock from cheetahs, and are considered a good choice for protecting farms and livestock from foxes, bobcats, coyotes, and bears.
Anatolians are bred to protect not to herd sheep , live stock.
