I want you to know every night when I’m alone I’m the one holding your hands in the dark between lightning bolts at eventide when dusk tucks in the land and the storm rages outside playing with melancholic leaves tossing them aimlessly I want you to know           Author Notes Thank you for reading and reviewing my poem.
