Author Notes
One Line Haiku was created in Japan in the 17th century. Haiku poets write one-line haiku in a vertical or a horizontal line. Since the 1960s, American (and other Western world countries) haiku poets' communities have experimented with "one-line haiku".

-A one-line poem does not exceed one line of type on a normal page and is intended to be read as one unbroken line.
- A one-line poem does not include forced pauses (satori), indicated by punctuation,
true one-line poems do not use pauses (satori) and line breaks,
