The two young adventurers climbed higher than they'd ever been before, past the treetops. Exhausted, they'd shared lunch and then napped. Lilly's spirit drifted to a special place, hidden beyond the snowcaps. She bubbled with excitement when Trevor stirred. He wiped away the sleep while she babbled wildly. "It was magical. A glistening white castle nestled beneath billowing clouds. A fairy danced around the fire. Rainbow-colored birds fluttered everywhere. Trevor scoffed. "A fantasy." "Oh, and Pierre." "Who?" "A majestic bird with iridescent wings welcomed me." "Wasn't real, Lilly." Smiling, she pointed, "Wasn't it?" A celestial bird soared high above.
