dancing with the rising moon as the breeze blows around me      willow leaves fall into the river — I watch clouds float lazily amidst flying midnight-ravens   I cast a rock of time into the creek and watch it drown ... uncomplaining     with the heavy weight of being — the flowing stream's susurrus carry gurgling rainbow trout   I dream of you      with flirtatious flaming passion — rebelling against dawn as it pushes blue shadows I fall over the edge of sleep             Recognized Author Notes susurros = whispers Gogyohka is a five-line free-style Japanese poetic form with no strict rules on syllable count but as brief as possible.
