Thanksgiving Day, I spy the pie,
its flaky crust delights my eye.
Potatoes mashed and piled high,
with turkey gravy, makes me sigh.
Roast turkey is a tasty treat,
it's quite my favorite food to eat.
With stuffing, it just can't be beat,
sweet corn and peas make it complete.
Do not forget some sweet red wine,
to sip on it is just divine.
A finer drink you'll never find,
it's difficult to choose which kind.
Of course, it's not about just food,
to think that way would be quite rude.
my loving family's attitude,
It puts me in a happy mood.
As long as they don't eat my pie,
with whip cream on it piled high!
It's mine! And when the time draws nigh,
each crumb I'll finish, by and by.
