50-word Dribble Fiction
Taking a Sick Day
by Y. M. Roger
Toothy dragged in, tossing her filled bag and empty purse aside. Fae Fever in December was awful! But she knew who could help.
“Nick? Hey, could you make my deliveries with yours tonight?”
“Ho-ho-ho! Teeth and toys? No problem, girl! Rest up!”
Toothy was asleep before Santa disconnected the call.
