Potlatch challenge-Halloween Poem
31 Days, Piece of Cake
31 Days, Piece of Cake
October first and second too
the fourth and fifth have passed
the third and sixth I've counted them
seven eight and nine gone through
and then the tenth day seemed to
drag forever but eleven no big woo
twelve and thirteen went together
fourteen fifteen where's my shoe
I'll need it for my trick or treating
as the sixteenth day goes by
and seventeen and eighteen fly
to nineteen hurry, why oh why
must twenty linger, candy waits me
all these days are just no fun
but I stand strong and soon
I look back, yes there goes day twenty-one
twenty-two, I'll make it through and soon I'll see
day twenty-three, it won't be long, I'm through
that door 'cause I just passed day twenty-four
I'm getting hives and jumping high as I pass
right by twenty-five and twenty-six is just a breeze
I laugh at time and twenty-seven's pleas to stay but
surely twenty-eight knows I must claim as mine the
thrill of passing twenty-nine, that means that thirty's
slipping by and Halloween is nearly nigh
Now it's finally thirty-one
ALL HALLOW'S EVE
IT'S TIME FOR FUN!
