The Language of Love

If dance is poetry in motion…then let’s dance
Let’s do this ballet of romance
 
Countdown the beat with Haiku…now let’s move
Ah… I see you like to groove
 
Swing me into your arms with an Acrostic that spells my name
Spin me with a Sonnet that sets my soul aflame
 
Rondel me with a Rumba beat
Keep the meter right as we move our feet
 
Cha Cha me with a Triolet
We dance 8 lines of love- Ole!
 
Now move with me a fable, our love spun in verse
Ours… a poetry dance for the universe
 
Now pull me in close and kiss me deep 
Seal this dance of love before we sleep
