The Library Book Drop
by adewpearl
The library book drop is where it all ends - it eats up the places I made my new friends. It gulps up a mouthful of valleys and hills, mysterious mansions of cobwebs and thrills. Are elephants roaming the African plains now giving the book drop severe tummy pains? I hate to imagine the terrible fate awaiting the book drop if that's what it ate. It munches on mountains, and skyscrapers too, and just now it swallowed a whole pirate crew. I bet it's not pleasant when poked by a sword, that wooden-legged pirates have carried aboard. I wonder if pirates and elephants meet when everything's swallowed and day is complete. I bet they all worry 'bout what I will plop to add to the mix of the library drop. |

Many thanks so Miranda Signore for this photo of Sawyer as he returns his first ever library book to the local library.
