Gateway to the West

Not very far from here
Is an awesome sight I love so dear A hugh steel structure, 'Gateway to the West' The Arch stands guard 'ore St Louis' best Skyscrapers towering over the great Library Federal Courts and Sanctuaries Bask in the shadow of its grace Historic St Louis, a memorable place Botanical gardens, 1904 World's Fair Famous Fox theater, Muny Opera's open air Serene Forest Park and bustling Universities The Arch opens up an area of diversity Six Flags' extravaganza, always fun to attend Or the Art Museum, a whole day you'll spend Perhaps the Planetarium, or famous St Louis Zoo An inexhaustible feat,the things you can do The Arch welcomes all, attend a sports game Cheer for the Cardinals, see Baseball's Hall of Fame The Blues and Rams, their teams call it home Or tour Grant's Farm where the Clydesdale's roam Come see the Arch, I sincerely hope that you do The 'Gateway to the West', is waiting for you |
