About attaining your full potential...
HeART Dreams
by Curly Girly
Once I had a special calling
For painting and for some drawing. I loved to shade and to doodle Images of my little poodle. I would stay up late every night Determined to draw pictures right. I yearned for some ART lessons... But I got ACCOUNTING sessions! I could not add one, two and three And the whole class laughed at me! A 'Bookkeeper' I had to be That's how parents directed me. All upon my own admission I was NOT a 'mathematician.' A tiny sketch after my name Was my feeble attempt at fame. Accounting stress, I can take no more! Not qualified to paint or draw. An art teacher I longed to be... But now unemployed, miserably! One thing which I have come to learn Go after that for which you yearn. My life is more than halfway past I got one lesson that will last... Try to teach your own children well, Please help them to write, count and spell. Allow them different hobbies And encourage new-found lobbies. We only have one life to live Parents must encourage and give. Children need lots of time and space, Help them to forge their path and place. Where young hearts yearn strongly to go Adults allow that passion flow... To achieve their full potential And to attain their credential. Train them to study and believe That all their dreams, they can achieve. It's paramount consequential To get that vital credential. Believe, achieve, their path conceive All those BIG dreams - please let them breathe! |
