A chapter in the book My Book of Favored Sonnets
A Silent Dawning
by Dawn of Tomorrow
'Tis hidden in the early morning hours, beneath the peace and calm of dawn's first light, the mystery that colors every flower, a warming glow which breaks from deepest night. You'll hear it in the whisp'ring willow tree, inhale it through the fresh, sweet fallen dew. This ambiance will set a spirit free; it calls for us to start this walk anew. So let this comfort wrap itself around and take you on a journey you've not known. To feel this omnipresence close, surround, will guide you where all longing souls atone. When silence fills the early morning hours absorb the peace and let His light empower. |
