Weeding my Life
by PUPA
When I feel down, I drag everything else
to the bottom with me, the good as well as the bad,
my whole life falls apart.
I need so much strength to pick it all up again,
to climb the ladder with that load upon my shoulders,
struggling to find a new start.
But when I can't use my already strained muscles,
I take a look at my scattered self lying on the ground,
select good parts to work out a new chart.
Even if this forces me to stay behind a bit longer
to sort out the dim from the light as best as I can,
When finally day beats night and things look brighter;
no stressful dragging will be required anymore,
