about reality TV
Winning the Bachelor
by Connie C
The first time I met you, I was awestruck by how dashing you were in your elegant black tuxedo. In spite of the camera crew hovering over us, I knew in an instant that Cupid, with his puffy, pink cheeks, had aimed his silver arrow straight at my heart. Then came the challenge: getting Cupid to shoot another arrow, this time in your direction.
But it happened! You singled me out from all those desperate young women fantasizing that they would be the chosen one and then whining when they weren't. I can't believe you want me to be your wife, or should I knock on wood when I say that?
I wonder, am I a joke to the viewers of reality TV? Who cares. The bachelor is mine--at least for now.
