The Holy Spirit keeps me strong

With praise, I'll sing a joyful song

He is my helper, He's my friend

He'll be with me right to the end



To temptation I say, so long

The Holy Spirit keeps me strong

He helps me from trials of sin

 With hopes that evil will not win



My conscience always says it straight

To be with Jesus is my fate

The Holy Spirit keeps me strong 

When satan tells me to do wrong



At times when sadness fills my heart

The loneliness, is the worst part 

That's when He says that I belong

The Holy Spirit keeps me strong
