Toronto, Canada, is where our Dawn Deborah lives
A sweet and lovely woman, and with her talent she gives
Her osteoarthritis and her fibro causes pain
It's very hard to live with but tries hard not to complain
Our dear Dawn has breast cancer, but she has had surgery
The way some speak of radiation feels like perjury
'Cause I've heard people make it sound like it is no big deal
But bad sickness and aches and pains are how it makes her feel
For a successful published author, she will beta-read
She publishes herself and with each book she plants a seed
Awards for writing, and also the contests she has won
Just look in her portfolio to see all she has done
But Dawn is so prolific, working on her novels too
Her lovely poetry, and writing more that are all new
Like John Wesley, an author, whom she's a very big fan
Says, do some good in all the ways, the best of what you can
And you'll find many of her books they sell on Amazon
Photography and short stories, as she writes on and on
She wrote and she produced a video once for tv
And she received a big award for it's excellency
She loved Jamaica but last time was in "87"
But she believes that her next paradise will be heaven
Dawn, you're seventy three today; we love you any age
There's many here who are like you and they're on the same page
We all would like to celebrate you, Dawn, so if we may
