In This Life

When one year turns into the next,
You might find yourself perplexed,
Events might seem a little unfair,
Things might start happening that you thought were rare,
Just know that you are not alone,
You can always pick up the phone,
And call a relative or friend,
Life as we know it will not come to an end,
You are special just as you are,
And in this life, loved ones are never far.
