God's love helps us walk in love

Love Bank

Bless

This day

I do pray

For a new start 

Yippee-yah-yay-hurray

What's really down deep in your heart

Hatred and discord, you must now depart

God's forgiveness washes away all of our mess

I'm ready for this love bank to jumpstart 

Peaceful when we all do our part

Not one going astray 

love a' la carte

Here to stay

Yahweh

Write a diatelle for this poetry contest. A diatelle has a set syllable count and a set rhyme.


The syllable count is: 1-2-3-4-6-8-10-12-10-8-6-4-3-2-1. The rhyme patter is: abbcbccaccbcbba. It is usually displayed centered. See an example here.


My first attempt at this. It took me a while to figure it out, but hopefully this all makes sense.
