A poem about endless winter

Winter Malaise

by RodG

Cold
Out there
Arctic air
Strikes ruthlessly
Sunny days very rare
Snow storms blow through persistently
Ice clings to birch tree branches doggedly
By February frigid temps have gotten old
We cannot endure Winter endlessly
But to preserve our sanity
Spring must come and share
Her warmth swiftly
Just beware
That air's
Bold
