A Short Rhymed Poem
Back Home
by Debra White
My Father has a plan for me.
He writes my path, each twist and turn
and though I strayed blindsightedly,
he led me back, his way to learn.
I used to think my way was best,
I'd mapped my destiny with care,
but lurking troubles, unforseen,
prevented me from getting there.
Somehow, I found my way back home;
The Holy Spirit waited there -
I'm thankful that He guided me
to walk with Him in faith and prayer.
