Quirky Foibles

by BermyBye50

*

In the land of Idiocrasy,

Where logic bends so casually,

Quirky Foibles rule the day,

Dancing in their quirky ballets.

*

Pride, the jester, stumbles on air,

Boasting boldly without a care.

Forgetfulness misplaces keys,

Then blames the wind and fickle trees.

*

Procrastination takes the throne,

It promises tomorrow’s tone.

Impatience taps a frantic beat,

While Clumsiness trips over feet.

*

Excuses wear a patchwork coat,

Singing lies with every note.

Whimsy stands as a boulder tall,

Rejecting change, though it may fall.

*

Yet in this world of errant charms,

Each fault extends its quirky arms.

For even in absurdity,

There’s beauty in humanity.
