babysitting adventures
full-term
by SimianSavant
The leftover balloons from my birthday are seized by my nephew and niece. Allie, age 3, adopts the purple one. "My baby. My darling. Are you comfortable, my ballon baby?"
Just yesterday, she was waddling around "pregnant" with it.
I follow her, making baby crying sounds. "Allie, it's hungry." She finds a bottle.
I pause crying for five seconds, then resume. "Allie, it needs a diaper change!" She excitedly sets about the task.
"Allie, it pooped on you!" She frantically attends to motherhood duties in between recurring wails from her balloon.
Three diapers later, Allie banishes the balloon to timeout.
