a 100-word story
Today in One Hundred Words
by Bill Schott
Looking over the covers I see it is five a.m.
Rising, I go to make coffee.
The computer pops on enabling me to check Fanstory, my bank account, and credit union. I check the emails, but they are chiefly spam.
My wife gets up around eight, when I help her shower and get dressed.
Once she is in her Lazyboy, I make our breakfast and we watch some building show on HGTV.
At eleven, I help her to the car and we go to dialysis. Three hours later we return, eat dinner, and watch television into a comatose state.
