Call out back to me

Fallout

by ShiningGiraffe

They rebuke us.
Watch as radiation unglues us.
Infertile womb now that hate consumes us.
Skin, stripped away till we are but burns, yet they can't make us lose us.
Appearance is nothing but rotting corpses, yet life can never leave us.
Living still as walking hurts, so they try to confuse us.
The result of our leadership discrimination runs all of us.
Across the wasteland, we reach out, so put your arms around us.
Morph into ignorance changed into bitterness, yet don't let them drown us.
Pain that got him beating on his wife, will they ever forgive us?
Many prefer their communities, yet can we see inside us?
Forced smiles mad into whatever hides us.
Do we improve, that sound like us?
Change drives us and makes us feral.
What is the answer for all who are in peril?
Can we band together before all of this becomes sterile?
Forgiveness in our Hearts for our power is a carol.
