On The Outside

by Wils

 
She wakes with her world filled with gloom
Darkness surrounds her in that room
Fighting against this mind attack
Sadly the demons fight right back
 
Sometimes small cracks of light appear
Trying to tell her "Do not fear."
Those doors are slammed with rapid speed
The darkness shows it's disagreed
 
I'm on the outside looking in
With her on this emotion spin
