I am acquainted with a man named Jim B. who is the organist at our church. He has a wonderful bass or baritone (I'm not sure which) voice, and he consented to have me sing with him at certain times from 2023 - 2024. I sang with him on my birthday, at Easter, and at Christmastime. He is currently in the hospital with cancer of the lymph nodes. He also has a bad heart, and chemotherapy could affect his heart. We pray for him and his family, his grandsons and granddaughters have ministries serving as altar boys and singing with him at Mass. I consider myself blessed by being allowed to sing with him and his granddaughters. I hope the angels are looking out for him, and that he is able to come back to play and sing. He gave me some good pointers on singing.
