Beatle Up!
Write a story or a poem that incorporates at least 20 Titles of Beatle Songs. You may use as many as you would like but the minimum is 20. The list can be found at www.keepandshare.com/htm/lists/free_beatles_song_list.php
Should you choose poetry that rhymes or is blank verse or free verse, the minimum length should be no less than 300 words. If you choose to write a story the minimum length is 700 words and the maximum is 8000. Either genre you choose needs to contain at least 20 tiles of Beatle Songs. Any deviation from these rules will result in disqualification. Author's note are permitted and do not count toward the word requirement or the 20 title requirement.
Your name and other information will be shown on this entry, so fan notifications will be as they normally would.
The First Prize Winner will win the complete "Prize Pool" which is based on the number of entries. There are 17 spots open. If all open spots are filled the prize pool will be 72.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 5 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
The contest is open to all members. Past contest winners can join the contest.
A voting booth will be created shortly after the deadline is reached. At that time all participants will be contacted so they can vote. Members who enter this contest are encouraged to read and review each entry.
If you plan to write for this contest, reserve a spot. There are a limited number of entries.
A vote by the members will determine the winner and all decisions are final. A member cannot vote for his own work.
