A Serial Killer
Write the beginning of your novel about a serial killer. You may take whatever approach suits you. Perhaps you want to start right off with a killing and shock us into turning the page. Maybe though, you will intrigue us with insights into your characters persona and make us ponder the path he/she took. Still others may take an approach no one has thought of before. It is all up to you. You may use any format or style except for poetry though your character may use poetry as a component of his crimes.
The length is to be between 1000 and 1500 words. Be careful with the word count as there will only be a three word leeway to avoid disqualification.
