ANIMAL LIMERICK CONTEST
Poetry Contest
Please write a limerick on the theme of one main animal character, though other animals may also be included.
No humans, insects or fish. Birds are OK
A limerick is traditionally bawdy and humorous, so that style is preferred, though please be subtly naughty/humorous and not crude/offensive.
Five lines in total with syllable count as follows: Lines 1,2 and 5 should have nine or ten syllables each, and lines 3 and 4 should have either five or six syllables each.
Rhyme scheme is AABBA
Rhymes may be either perfect or near-rhymes
