I agree with Charles, I think Helen is going to really get into this role. Another good chapter Tony, with a little humour thrown in amongst great dialogue and the drama of the situation. Enjoyed it,

You write well, excellent dialogue and good descriptions combined with a dose of humor. As I haven read the previous chapters I was in the dark but guess this must be a spy/adventure tale.

Charles and Helen are in a dangerous situation. For one, to my understanding, Pakistan is a very unstable country for two people who are not native to it and being hunted-- a scary predicament.

-Another good chapter, Tony, that has a
serious situation, humor, and vivid description.
-Charles is particularly in rare
form with his wit in this one!
-The bit about the mushroom and
"An unshaven man the colour of a ripe
walnut stared back at me" are very good!
-However, their situation is anything but
humorous, but they seem to be handling it well.
-I think it was a good idea not
to dwell on the serious in this chapter.
-It will be interesting to find out
who is behind all of this, however.
-I wonder what Rasheed has to do with all of
this, or if he is just the taxi driver doing his job?
-Helen plays a good part in this chapter, trying
to get Charles to fit into the culture.
-I think she will relish her role,
and Charles will be doing her bidding.

Helen seems to be having fun even under the conditions they are in. Every eye is out looking for them and she's just playing a game. At least she enjoys her work.

Thanks, Mia. Yes, Helen does seem relativey unfazed by the situation. She and Charles have developed a jokey relationship over the course of their time together.

I like how you have researched the culture and dialect and invite the reader to do so. Your setting which you also must have researched by visiting or reading up on helps create solid characters. Your characters carry the culture and tradition well. They are believable. You create just enough suspense to keep the reader's attention. I think I would like to begin reading this story from the 1st chap. You may see me on the other side. I am definitely voting for this one.
